On the odd occasion when she has fallen asleep somewhere else she has woken again within 1/2 hour crying. When she wakes in her hammock she lies happily, gently bouncing up and down. Infact I only know she has woken by the movement of the hammock.
Now she is in the hammock at night I was worried that she would mind not being next to me, but the hammock keeps her so snug and cosy that she falls alseep almost immediately on being put in . I have always found it a real problem putting babies down when they are asleep as thay wake up shortly afterwards on a flat surface feeling cross that you are gone and they aren't being cuddled any more. It is the complete opposite with the hammock. Clara sleeps for hours, night time included. if she stirs in the night the hammock gently rocks her back to sleep. I REALLY recommend this. It is like having an extra pair of arms to hold your baby. Looks like I'm finally getting the hang of the baby-sleep problem 5th time round!
I REALLY REALLY wish I'd had one of these right from the start. If you buy anything big for your baby, buy this!
