Weight limits

The Natures Nest can be used from birth up to 29lbs (approx12 months) a heavy duty spring can be purchased separately which will hold up to 401b. We recommend that babies sleep in the Natures Nest as soon as they are born to give you and baby the very best start. However many parents start using the Natures Nest as late as five months old, with great results in helping their baby sleep.

We recommend the jump jump be used up to 331bs.

 

When to use a snuggler

We recommend using a snuggler for babies 7lbs or under

 

When can babies use the Jump Jump

 

The jump jump is used when your babies can sit up steadily on his own.

 

Safety

Babies sleep in the recommended supine position (on there back) as advised by SIDS.
The Amby Natures Nest has been tested and passed the American JPMA standard, which is the highest standard that can be attained. The JPMA represents 95% of companies that manufacture baby products. British Standards Bsi, Japanese standard JMGSL. The Amby Natures Nest is used in hospitals and day care centres and thousands of homes worldwide.

 

Chemicals

The Amby Natures Nest has no fire retardant chemicals and the foam mattress is made from polyethylene material, which has been cured and is commonly used for bedding, the cover is 100% cotton. The Raw Cotton Natures Nest has no chemicals or dyes.

 

Sitting up or rolling over

We recommend supervision of babies whilst awake in the Natures Nest as you would with any bed especially as babies get older.
By design it is virtually impossible for babies to sit up or roll over, having said that babies can perform the virtually impossible.

 

Sleeping position

Your baby must be placed on his back, the configuration of the hammock makes it virtually impossible for a baby to sleep prone (on his tummy) in it.

 

Value for money

The Natures Nest can be used from birth to 12 months so there is no need for a Moses Basket. The travel bag  comes free with your purchase, eliminating the need for a travel cot.

 

Assembling the Natures Nest

The tubes are push and slots not screws or complicated pieces, the Natures Nest takes approx 10 minutes to assemble or dissemble.

 

Deliveries
Deliveries are usually made on Tuesday and Friday of each week. Every effort will be made to deliver orders on these days, but this may not be taken as implying any legal obligation to deliver on these days, nor shall any late delivery be reflected within carriage costs.
