Jack's Testimonial

SU-BLOODY-PERB
thats what we think of your natures nest....

We are first time parents, (finally after 5 miscarriages)
so after spending a huge amount of money on a lovely nursery, we decided on a cotbed, hoping to utilise it for the first 5 years of our newborns life..

So after an elected C-section our son Jack was born in the Norfolk & Norwich hospital. We stayed in for 4 nights and every night Jack slept in with me as he wouldn't settle in his cot thing there, we were told it would be better when we got home, our first night home we laid him down in his lovely room.. ah peace.. FOR ALL OF 5 MINUTES... thus began our journey to find the most perfect sleeping space, he ended up in our bed, thankfully its superking size so plenty of room, but the sllepless nights continued thru fear of laying on him or sufficating him with our duvet.

We then bought a moses basket, same again, he'd sleep for a hour in it downstairs during the day but at night forget it, several days later hand in pockets again and we bought a swinging crib. Still no bloody good, we might as well of burnt the money, so for the next 8 weeks we had him in our bed, he woke every 2 hours, then after feed and
cuddles for a hour went off to sleep again till 5am then was awake.

I was shattered and finally went down with a virus that lasted 7 weeks due to being completely worn out. Then my mum came over oneday and whilst she was cuddling Jack I finally picked up the Parenting magazine my
brother had bought me in hospital.. (i had asked for Horse n Hound.!!) anyway i turned the page and there it was .. the answer to my prayers..

Chris got home, showed him.. NO WAY he said, we've spent enough on beds that ain't used.. so being female, and how long have we had things in the wardrobe they never know about i bought one.. not sure how i was
going to get away with it thou.. I waited in anticipation and it finally arrived, mum and i put it up, chris came home.. WOT THE $*"$ IS THAT he asked.

Wait and see i said praying Jack would sleep for more than an hour in it. Bed time came at 10pm, off to sleep he went, carefully he was taken upstairs and put in his 'nest', he didn't stir, we snuggled down to grab a valuble hour in our bed that was at last ours again. Next thing
we knew it was 4am, he woke for a feed,, I couldn't believe it, I fed him and then gently bounced him back to sleep where he stayed till 7am... and that has continued, Chris has eaten his words, so has his mother.. I'd of happily paid the money just for that one night, but we
are now 7 weeks down the line and we are actually sleeping 9 hours a night in it. It is FANBLOODYTASTIC..

I've told everyone at our baby clinic about it,, when Jack grows out of it I will most definatly just store it, I'm not planning on anymore but if a wee person decides to
come along our 'nest' will come to the hospital with us...
THANKYOU for inventing such a masterpiece..
