Plagiocephaly Awareness week (Flathead)
12th 19th August 2007

We are celebrating 5 years of the Natures Nest being in the UK and supporting Plagiocephaly Awareness week (Flathead Syndrome) which is taking place from the 12th-19th August 2007 http://www.plagiocephalycare.org

The Natures Nest is creditable for assisting with the symptoms of Flathead, due to the increase since the back to sleep campaign and for easing colic and reflux which can result in a very unhappy baby and sleep depravation for parents. Thousands of parents are still unaware of the many benefits this award winning bed provides.

Help us raise awareness of repositioning techniques and tummy time as babies have to wear helmets for up to 23 hours per day.

Hi Chloe & Angela

Congratulations on your award - great news and well deserved.

My third baby has reflux and loves his natures nest, it seems to hold him in a really comfortable position he always looks so cosy my only problem with it is that they don't do a grown up version!!

Kind Regards.

Philippa Forrester.

A Petition to the Prime Minister

Has been started in England to raise awareness of the increase in Plagiocephaly and Brachycephaly (Flathead in babies) since the back to sleep campaign, it has been very successful in Scotland. We believe that parents should be made more aware of repositioning techniques and products to promote tummy time, as wearing a helmet for long periods of time up to 23 hours a day is very uncomfortable and expensive. Could you please sign the petition so changes can be made. We promote Tummy Time to play and back to sleep.
